🌟 Messy Explorers: A Journey of Love & Discovery (5-Week Term)

Week 1 (16th Jan): Winter Animals (Little Arctic Explorers) We’ll dive into a snowy world made of shredded coconut and soft white playdough. Babies will discover hidden penguins in "icy" blue rice, exploring the contrast between soft textures and cool sensations.

Week 2 (23rd Jan): Construction & Diggers (Little Builders) The adventure continues with edible-safe "mud" and chunky trucks! This session focuses on hand-eye coordination as little ones scoop, pour, and navigate through different gritty textures.

Week 3 (30th Jan): The Hungry Caterpillar (Colourful World) A rainbow of coloured rice and large green leaves bring this classic story to life. This sensory experience is perfect for fine motor development while exploring bright colours and hidden treasures.

Week 4 (6th Feb): Emotions & Colours (Bright Feelings) We will explore big emotions through super-soft homemade dough and vibrant pom-poms. Using mirrors and bright textures, kids will engage in sensory play that boosts visual focus and early social awareness.

Week 5 (13th Feb): Valentine’s Day Grand Finale (Love & Keepsakes) A heart-filled session featuring pink rice, rose petals, and sensory fun! To celebrate the end of our term, we will create a special handmade keepsake for mums to take home and treasure forever.

Special Note for Athlone Sessions: Mixed-Age Learning (1–3 Years) 🌟

In our Athlone sessions, we proudly embrace a Mixed-Age Group model. We believe that children learn beautifully from one another in a diverse social environment.

How does it work? Because our sessions are designed around individual sensory trays, every child receives a tray specifically tailored to their developmental stage.

• For our littlest explorers (12–18 months): Trays focus on taste-safe, tactile exploration and simple cause-and-effect.

• For our older toddlers (2–3 years): Trays include additional tools to challenge fine motor skills, imaginative play, and complex textures.

This personalized approach ensures that every session is safe, age-appropriate, and deeply engaging for every single child, regardless of their age.

👶 Class Size & Drop-ins:
To keep our classes calm and connected, we allow only 2 drop-ins per session. This way, everyone has the opportunity to experience the class while maintaining a positive group dynamic.
